Magical ski charm along Kali’s adventure ski runs

Ski and snowboard joy in the Ramsau am Dachstein ski region

Between the four interlinked ski resorts, part of ski amadé

Surrounded by the four interlinked ski resorts – Hauser Kaibling, Planai (Schladming), Hochwurzen, Reiteralm – and, right in the heart of ski amadé, is the Ramsau am Dachstein ski region. Experience unforgettable skiing days on Austria’s sunniest ski runs, with its wealth of pistes and cosy mountain restaurants. Ramsau is particularly family friendly with facilities and skiing to suit young and old alike. There are 16 ski lifts available for winter guests, all perfect for families.

The ski lifts, from the Ramsau plateau up to the Dachstein glacier where snow is guaranteed, inspire Alpine skiers and snowboarders alike. The ski runs on the sunny Ramsau plateau and in Kali’s Children’s Land are spot on for beginners. Next up are the Rittisberg ski runs or the high-altitude ski runs on the glacier to thrill even the most advanced skiers and experienced carvers. On the Dachstein glacier, the Snowpark is the place to be for snowboarders and freeskiers, while experienced skiers are challenged by the Edelgrieß freeride run. There is also an unmatched selection of ski touring on and around the Dachstein. Winter sport enthusiasts of all ages are delighted to find a vast choice of things to do within short distance.

Kalis Adventure Ski Runs

The Ramsau part of ski amadé is also brilliant for little winter guests. Children find a true paradise along Ramsau mascot Kali’s Adventure Ski-Runs. There is a colourful winter playground in Kali’s magic winter world, where Kali accompanies little skiers – sometimes even personally – to the ski lifts and ski runs. That way, children learn the right skiing technique while having great fun in Ramsau am Dachstein.

Ideal ski region for families

Ramsau ski region is filled with fun: magic carpets and drag lifts take you up the hill, making it easier to get started, and on Rittisberg, there’s a chairlift. Once you are at the top of Rittisberg, Austria’s longest fairytale ski run lies ahead of you! The flat wide ski runs are reachable by car, which is much appreciated by parents of small children. There is a lot of entertainment along the ski lifts and runs: each lift in Kali’s winter world has its own magical theme. Every family member will find a ski run to make their day.

If you still want more, head to the unlimited skiing pleasure of Schladming Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm, just fifteen minutes away by ski bus. Ramsau am Dachstein is a member of ski amadé, offering 760 km of ski runs and 270 ski lifts, all accessible with just one ski pass.
